This standard certifies that we apply formalised business processes, and some organisations make it a prerequisite that their suppliers are registered. For us, it meant reviewing all of our business processes and then undergoing an independent inspection. We will be audited once a year to ensure our ongoing compliance. Not only do we have to encompass new systems and make them endemic throughout our business, but we are also committing to a plan of continual improvement to maintain our registered status. Why would we go to all this effort? Quite simply because it shows you, our customers and suppliers, that we care about the way we do business.
