
Celebrating the brand’s ‘Bee Friendly’*
Our client approached Glowcroft to develop a new range of seed mix packaging that celebrated the brand’s ‘Bee Friendly’ message. They supplied a small suite of existing brand assets including; logo, fonts, and the hero image for the front panel, and needed us to build from there. The challenge was to integrate these assets into a refreshed design that not only aligned with the current brand identity but also stood out on crowded retail shelves.

The Challenge
With four different SKUs, each featuring a unique flower variety, sourcing imagery that was both accurate and visually cohesive proved tricky. We needed to ensure each pack was distinctive while keeping the overall look consistent and recognisably “Bee Friendly.” Balancing colour, composition, and print performance across the range was key to maintaining strong shelf presence.


Our Approach
Working closely with the client, our design team explored layout concepts that retained the essence of the original branding while introducing more vibrancy and contrast to catch the shopper’s eye. We optimised each design for print using GMG ColourProof to ensure accuracy and consistency across all four artworks. Final PDFs were signed off swiftly, keeping the project on track for seasonal delivery.
The Result
Once printed, the four designs were produced for filling and packing with their respective seed mixes. The final result combined the client’s established brand style with a fresh, engaging visual identity that captures attention and reinforces the product’s eco-conscious, pollinator-friendly purpose. The range now sits proudly on shelf — distinctive, cohesive, and perfectly in tune with its message.
